A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME
Your ceremony will set the tone for your wedding event so it's important you find a celebrant who understands your vision.
I'm a Melbourne celebrant and more recently a Mother of the Bride. I understand the finer details and all the planning required to make your wedding day a success.
I focus on attention to detail and will spend as much time needed to customize your ceremony with you to reflect your distinct personalities.
I am very adaptable and will fit in with your needs on the day of your ceremony. I have experience working with a diverse
range of people including translators, and I love exploring cultural rituals relevant to you.

All ceremony packages include the cost of your legal Marriage Certificate ($66 including postage within Australia). After your ceremony, I will register your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages of Victoria and apply for your certificate on your behalf.
All the Bells & Whistles
Together we will work closely to design a ceremony that is both personal and unique to you. I am here to support your vision. I enjoy exploring cultural rituals that resonate with your heritage and I can assist you in integrating them into your ceremony if you wish. I can deliver the entire ceremony or facilitate with other participants you have chosen.
INCLUDES:
- Unlimited email/text communication
- At least 4 face to face meetings
- to meet and greet and confirm your identification
- to develop the ceremony with you
- to attend your rehearsal
- to attend your ceremony and formalise your marriage
- Assistance composing your ceremony including rituals, readings and creating personal vows.
- Attending the rehearsal and practice using my PA system with microphone.
- I will contact your venue co-ordinator / wedding planner / photographer prior to your ceremony to introduce myself and advise them of your ceremony structure and discuss any special considerations they need to be aware of.
- Attending your ceremony, formalising your marriage and facilitating the signing of your marriage certificates with you and your two witnesses.
- All legal documentation completed with you and submitted on your behalf plus registering your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages and applying for your official Marriage Certificate that will be posted to you (no additional fee).
- Travel fees may be applicable ($1 per km for each km travelled outside the 50km radius of the Melbourne CBD for both rehearsal and ceremony).

Co-Delivery
I love working in a team, so with yourselves and your chosen 'Ceremony Facilitator' (such as a Religious Minister, friend, family member, MC, etc.), my role as the Authorised Celebrant, will be to attend your ceremony, oversee all the legal requirements for your marriage and to ensure they are properly addressed before, during, and after the ceremony.
INCLUDES:
- All the inclusions of "Cheap and Cheerful"
PLUS:
- Additional meeting (phone or virtual) with you and/or your Ceremony Facilitator to review your ceremony script and provide feedback and suggestions if needed.
- Attending your rehearsal.
- Attending your ceremony to formalise your marriage and facilitate the signing of your marriage certificates.
- Travel fees may be applicable ($1 per km for each km travelled outside the 50km radius of the Melbourne CBD for both rehearsal and ceremony).
Cheap and Cheerful
A basic 'legal only' registry style format in a low key casual setting eg cafe/park or even your own kitchen table, to officiate your marriage (including the legal requirements to be spoken) and facilitate the signing of your marriage certificates with you and your two witnesses. This style of service offers simplicity and efficiency plus all legal elements.

- Unlimited email/text communication
- 2 face to face meetings
- to meet and greet, confirm identification and discuss the minimal legal requirements required to officiate your marriage plus complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (NOIM).
- to formalise your marriage
- All legal documentation completed with you and submitted on your behalf plus registering your marriage with Births, Deaths and Marriages and applying for your official marriage certificate that will be posted to you (no additional fee).
- Travel fees may be applicable ($1 per km for each km travelled outside the 50km radius of the Melbourne CBD).
Night-time Nuptuals
Night-time wedding ceremonies provide a unique, naturally romantic ambience, with stunning photo opportunities.
Night-time weddings can symbolize new beginnings and the start of a journey together as a couple.
I consider ceremonies that commence from 6pm onwards to be night-time weddings and I am more than happy to provide my fee for this service once you provide more details including time and location.

LEGAL REQUIREMENTS (mandatory minimum)
FIRST MEETING
- To be at least 1 month and 1 day prior to the date of your marriage.
- Together, we complete the Notice of Intended Marriage (downloadable under the 'Resources' tab or I can provide).
- I confirm your identification with Passports or Birth Certificates and photo IDs.
- I provide you with a government supported document Happily Ever Before and After.
PRIOR TO THE CEREMONY
- I will have all the documentation ready to be signed by yourselves, witnesses and me.
- I will need to speak with you both separately 5 minutes before the commencement of the ceremony, to check that as individuals, you are freely agreeing to marry.
DURING THE CEREMONY
- I will say the legal words required under Australian Law (the Monitum).
- You say the legal words required under Australian Law (legal vows).
- Three Certificates are signed by both of you, both witnesses and me.
- Two witnesses aged at least 18 years must be present (you provide).
AFTER THE CEREMONY
- I submit the signed Certificate of Marriage to Births Deaths and Marriages with the Declaration of no legal impediment to marriage to register your marriage.
- I will cover the costs and apply for the official Marriage Certificate to be posted to your nominated address.
- I retain a signed copy of the Certificate of Marriage for 6 years.
- You retain 1 of the Certificates of Marriage (Form 15) forever.
- You live ‘Happily Ever After.’ .
